Position Description

Join us in the newly established Center for Inherited Oncogenesis at UT Health San Antonio. Our goal is to use state-of-the-art genomics, single cell and spatial technologies to understand inherited contributions to cancer. We have a particular focus on womens health and precursors of gynecologic cancers (endometriosis and fallopian tubes).

The center is Co-Directed by Drs. Simon Gayther and Kate Lawrenson, who have a strong track record in mentoring. Center and institutional values prioritize collaboration, transparency, innovation and inclusion. Postdocs who would like to submit K99/career development awards are particularly encouraged to apply.

We have a number of positions and are seeking those with experience / interest in the following techniques/disciplines - single cell analysis of human tissues and disease models, epigenetics, gene editing, epigenome editing, in vitro models, induced pluripotent stem cells and genetic epidemiology

Position Requirements

Applicants must have a proven track record of success exemplified by one or more manuscript published as first author.
